Bronze Fury
New ‘Game of Thrones’ MMO in the works

This may be shocking news to many who have seen the unfortunate state of video games set in A Song of Ice and Fire. Many know of Telltale’s Game of Thrones and its lackluster reception on its ending before Telltale closed its doors. Even fewer know of the failed Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms MMORPG that was cancelled before it could even hit shelves.

Gamers will be happy to hear Nexon, the developers behind recent hit, THE FINALS, is working on an MMORPG for Game of Thrones set in The North during Roose Bolton’s reign as Warden of the North. Not much is known about the project other than The Wall and The North being key locations.

According to Redanian Intelligence, Jon Snow, Sam Tarly, and Roose Bolton will be characters you can meet, but are unfortunately will not have the original cast returning, opting for similar voices instead for the iconic characters.

With how little is known about the project, it’s expected to be a while before we hear any more news. Reportedly, the game is still untitled and has yet to make any official announcements.
